Of course, with our relationship with food and wellness is closely linked to our relationship with our bodies and our body image. If I focus on my physical appearance as the primary benefit or indicator of my wellness over the last nearly 90 days, I will be leaving so much behind. This isn’t about smaller clothes (which, yes, I’ve bought) or toned muscles (which, yes, I have).
Here’s what it’s about for me and what I hope women are striving to live up to when (before) Pearl is 35:

Building confidence in body, mind, and soul
Lifting, running, jumping, and throwing stronger, faster, higher, and longer
Having boundless energy
Being healthy and happy
