Quick post tonight. Thanks for the great feedback on yesterday’s post. If you haven’t read it yet, please do, I’m interested in your ideas about my thoughts on hunger vs. appetite.
Overall I feel good. Definitely let hunger drive my choices today, although I struggled a little bit when making dinner. I tend to sample things as I cook them (which isn’t the end of the world when I’m cooking with brussel sprouts and beets I suppose–it used to be the case when I was making my world famous chocolate chip cookies). However, I was a bit surprised that although the appetite vs. hunger bit is front of mind, I was much more aware of it earlier today than during the dinner hour. Something to focus on.

Made it through 4 rounds; 3 RX and 1 @ 65# (downside: broke my favorite double under rope)

PWO: Egg whites and kale (making the muffins now; I’ve been missing them!)
Breakfast: 3 eggs and hash
Lunch: Spinach salad with chicken and coconut shreds w/mac nuts
Made some beet chips tonight. Round 1 was okay. Round 2 not so much. Needs work
Dinner was flank steak broiled and brussel sprouts.
For those wondering about eggs, I’ve been cracking mine into muffin tins and baking them at 350 for about 15-20 minutes. Great grab and go!
And these are the PWO egg white muffins although in this batch I substituted acorn squash for the sweet potato.
