The first snowfall. I’m reminded how much I love our house because I can lay here in bed and hear people sledding on Jersey Hill. They sound like they are having so much fun. Never mind the cold temps, wet socks, and the whipping wind, they let out a scream of joy as they let go and slide down the hill.
This is a good way to think about approaching the W30. It’s not the easiest thing I’ve ever done that’s for sure. There are parts of this adventure that are like the cold wind–having food cravings, feeling a bit low energy, and today for the first time actually, worrying about how I will feel if I don’t see results. But am I going to let that get in the way of my thrilling sled ride?
This W30 adventure requires hopping on the sled (all on!), letting out a big whoop, and flying down that hill. All the wet clothes will dry and the cold hands will warm, but the energy of that sled won’t be forgotten.
Oh, and earlier today, I posted about my excitement to celebrate reaching the finish line at the Luke Bryan/Jason Aldean show. Check out the great videos and photos here.
